Electrical Application Engineer General Position
Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for all electrical part activities on electric overhead cranes and portal cranesEmphasis will be on electrical components including motors, brakes, controls, switches, PLC's, pendants, radio systems, weigh systems, camera systems, etc

Legacy, EOT, and Portal Cranes
Essential Functions:
o Perform application tasks using established procedures and develop improvements to existing procedures as neededThese include but are not limited to component selection, preliminary schematic design, preliminary system layout, and preliminary automation component selection.o Interpret customer specifications to determine scope of work.o Ability to search company archives to find records of legacy equipmentMust be proficient in reading legacy equipment schematics.o Provide phone support and technical assistance on Konecrane electrics products for product selection.o Perform optimization of components by working in an interactive Team environment to reduce costs and improve delivery schedules
Qualifications:
Must be self-motivated, display leadership abilities, and have knowledge of the CMAAThis position requires excellent understanding of electricity, motor control electrical circuits, and analog and digital input/outputExperience designing and troubleshooting motor control circuits utilizing electromagnetic devices and variable frequency drives (VFD's) is essentialKnowledge of PLC programing software is plusA qualified candidate must be proficient in reading electrical schematics and vendor application drawingsProficiency with Microsoft Excel, and WordVerbal and written communication plays a key role in this positionThis position requires the direct interface between frontline sales, customers, production planning (Watertown), and project managementSite visits for application require the ability to work at heights up to 100 feet off the groundTravel estimated at 5% to meet with customers, commission equipment, and witness product testing at our manufacturing plantEducation:
BS in Electrical Engineering is preferred or BS in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical or Automation engineer working with motion and motor control productsRelated experience with overhead electric cranes or similar industrial equipment will be taken into considerationTravel Requirements :

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
